Recessive Coverage
Gradient Version: Can cover 100% of the design, four colors are allowed to create the gradient as well as blending into the base coat color.
Edge Effect Version: Can effect three markings.
♦ Dominant Coverage
Gradient Version: Can cover 100% of the design, six colors are allowed to create the gradient as well as blending into the base coat color.
Edge Effect Version: Can effect all markings.
♦ General Info
♦ Solar Flare Glow: Can appear anywhere behind the body and cover any portion behind the body, even up to 100% coverage.

♦ General Info
♦ Solar Flare Glow: Can appear anywhere behind the body and cover any portion behind the body, even up to 100% coverage.
♦ Types: Solar flare has two presentation types. Gradient and Edge Effect.
Gradient
♦ Effect: The gradient effect allows for a gradient to appear on the body. It can cover up to 100% of the body.
♦ Coat color: Solar flare gradient sits ontop of the coat color, and can cover the entire coat color, so long as a minimum of two colors are present. The base coat does not count as the second color.
♦ Marking Color and Interaction: At least two colors must be visible. In Recessive the max colors is four. In Dominant the max colors is six. This marking can sit ontop of other markings, or below them. Colors can be any color, be it dark or light.
♦ Marking Shape: Solar flare can be circular or straight in shape, the edges can vary so long as they are fully blended into a gradient.
Edge Effect
♦ Effect: This version of the marking allows the edges to have colored "flames" coming off of a marking. In recessive this can be applied three markings. In dominant this can be applied to all markings.
♦ Coat color: This version does not effect the coat color, however the flames can be blended into the coat color.
♦ Marking Color and Interaction: The flame edges can either match the marking color that it is effecting, or they can blend into a secondary color, as well as blending into the base coat color. The flames can follow all of the edges of a marking, or only a portion. They can also be dense, or sparse.
Both Versions
♦ Solar Flare Glow: The glow is optional and must appear behind the character. It can be any shape and can have a small glow spot to create a lens flare design.
♦ Both versions of the marking can be present at the same time.

Both Versions
♦ Solar Flare Glow: The glow is optional and must appear behind the character. It can be any shape and can have a small glow spot to create a lens flare design.
♦ Both versions of the marking can be present at the same time.
♦ There should be no metallic shine effect on the character.
♦ The optional glow must be behind the character and should not be on top of it. Neither should the lens flare effect.
♦ Unlike Solar flares original design, it may not cause the horn, claws, or spikes to glow. However the optional glow may be behind the horns/etc.
♦ While you can use different shades of colors, there needs to be at least enough variation so that it is not just three or four shades of the same color. I.e. using a orange red, yellow red, red, and a more purple tone will be correct, while simply using four shades of red will not be correct.
