Esther blinked. “Is it safe where we are going?” she asked. 

Valeriya looks at Esther. “If it was not safe I don't think she would.” 

“And your feline will be fine Esther.” Fiadh said as she walked over. “So long as it stays put that is.” she said more to the cat then Esther. 

The celestial feline had its back to Fiadh as it groom its fur not listening to the warden's words. It stays on top of Esther's head this time like a good cat and gives Fiadh a small hiss when she curls up into a ball of fluff. 

Fiadh gasps but chuckles at the cat. 

“Come on, you four let's get going.” Flidais said as she walked the path following the lava flow.

The cave walls change from having just ash-coloured stone to vains of raw metal twist around the walls and then ceiling.  It almost looks like a tree root the way the metal veins twist this way and that way. The cave wided and more raw ore of iron can be seen on the ground and walls only as big chunks of iron stick out like a sore thumb and along the path the jump had to climb over a few big ones that block the path.  

The hissing of scoria komodos can be heard as the group draws closer to where the amethyst but where the scoria komodos nesting site was. 

“Ohh dear it looks like that made it there nesting site this time around.” Hegna noted how many nests there were looking back at Flidais. “Are you sure you want to do this?  That could see you as a threat as you go get the amethyst you know.” she said. 

Flidais nodded. “I do.” She looks at the others. “So long as no one teuch the nest sites we are on good terms with them.” She walked over to a pretty large amethyst as she was by three nests and there was a scoria komodo who just watched Flidais ever move.  Flidais on the other hand work away to get a good big chuck of the gem.   

Valeriya watched this untfold as the komodo just watched Flidais but did not attack. So she turned and walked over to amethyst that was by a few nests and komodo and she carefully got herself some of the raw gem but was careful about the nest.  She waves Esther over as she works to get more. 

Esther walks over but she looks up at her cat. “You just sleep so you don’t get us in trouble with the lirazed here.” She watches the celestial feline just give a big yawn and sleep for now but it was not a troublemaker but a good feline.  Esther looks over the raw amethyst and works to get her own but watch the komodo who watches her back.    

Fiadh was unsure as she stayed back and watched the others working away to get their part of the amethyst.  Even her niece was brave to be close to five nests and four komodo and that made her nervous as she walked back and forth on the same spot.  “She is fine, she is fine.” she kept telling herself but felt a claw on her shoulder and looked to see Flidais looking at her. 

“Your niece, my friend, is safe and is not doing any harm.  It is normal for the komodo to watch those who are close to their nests.”  Flidais petted her shoulder. “Come on and get some amethyst, you're safe.” Flidais lead her to a spot with far fewer nests and komodos. 

Fiadh followed as she came to an amethyst and worked to remove some so she could take some amethyst home with her. She just listens to Flidais' words as she calms down and smiles.  

Esther and Valeriya were done and joined up with Hegna who was done but that watched Flidais help Fiadh out. Esther looks at Hegna. “Flidais sure did help her with that.” 

Hegna nodded. “She sure did.”  

They all got some amethyst and started to make their way out of the cave.
