The Isle of Glom is a swampy land  filled with magic and mystery. It is the home of the Gloom Empire and is depicted with swamps, bogs, and marshes, but also contains many bioluminescent areas and canyons.

              The Gloom Empire is a swampy empire, the humidity being a deterrent for most species. It is here that the pseudo dragon thrives, staying high up in the trees to avoid the many crocodile species of this empire as well as other predators. Despite the name and the appearance, there are many cities within this empire that thrive and continue to grow. Gloom Empire is a major export of wood and special minerals, making it a desirable trade partner. However this empire was not given its name because of its appearance, but rather because of the exile of magic. Magic users are often discriminated against highly, and the leader themselves are against magic. No one is for certain why this empire hates magic so much, and many speculate it has to do with the downfall of the Shimmering Isles, but no one has truly been given an answer. 

              The Gloom Empire is an empire of hidden treasures and wonders, at face value it is muggy, rainy, hot, and swamp like in most places. However those who live here often do not leave because of the hidden beauty the empire holds.
