Rue is a devoted companion and protector, with a strong sense of right and wrong and a good head on her shoulders. She cares very deeply for her rider, and protects her fiercely and with great devotion. She is cautious and almost standoffish toward strangers, though through time and interaction she will relax and become friendly. She is not an overly affectionate being, and doesnt care much for physical affection or cuddles. Her affection is better shown in her presence- you can tell if she likes and trusts you if she sleeps nearby, or simply sits within the general sphere of those conversing. She is an attentive and avid listener, although she does not say much. Her words, when given, are often weighted greatly. She only speaks when it's worth speaking.
